I love that phrase, classic animation. The reason this phrase is so important is it ditinguishes between computer animation and animation techniques that existed before computers came on the scene.

Both computer and classic animation deserve their own categories when it comes to film festivals. I just downloaded a film festival entry form that makes the distinction between classic animation and film animation and because of the distinction I will probably unretire the Alphabet Song and enter it in the festival.

Is it true that Disney laid off all of it's classic animators?
